Gospel music has become a staple in the black community. Since the early 1800s, Gospel music has continued to encourage and inspire those within, and outside of, the African-American community to continue moving forward. This Black History Month, BTGUM would like to pay homage to the impact that Gospel music has had on not only the music industry, but also on communities and individuals. Gospel Fest: Memoirs of a Praiser will give you an inside look on just how influential Gospel music has been throughout the years. Join us as we worship the Lord and praise Him for ALL that he has done! Admission is free.

Special guests include the JMU Gospel Choir, Longwood University’s B.A.S.I.C. Gospel Choir, and Liberty University’s own, LU Praise.
