Has the church missed the mark?

Have we forgotten that we are supposed to assist those who are hungry and thirsty? Have we missed out on extending an invitation to a stranger or visiting someone in a prison? Have we forgotten that God has continually blessed us in order to be a blessing to others?

1 Corinthians 10:31 reminds us that we should do everything for the glory of God. If this is the case, have we made sure that our everything includes our giving and our love. For words are simply not enough anymore. In a world that is hurting from a lack of Christ, it is our job as Gospel-centered believers to spread the good news and care for those who seem to get lost in the shuffle.

It’s time for a change!

The Blackjack Challenge (#BlackJackChallenge) is a way for Christians to put love into action (1 John 3:18). Through the next 21 weeks, we hope that you will embark on this journey with us to show the love of Christ to those who might otherwise miss out. Each week we will present a new challenge in the hope that you will pray on it and complete it.
